Positions

Create and manage department positions used by the scheduling system.

Position form

Add a new position and define coverage-related properties.

Used for Excel export and cross-position shifts.

Coverage settings

Set this only if continuous coverage is required.

Generation limits

Leave a field empty to use the general setting from Settings.

Position list

All positions currently saved in the system.

Notes

  • A position can later be assigned to multiple employees.
  • Continuous coverage is useful for roles that require constant presence.
  • Minimum staff presence should normally stay at 0 unless continuous coverage is enabled.
